"I don't think the weather could get any better than this," Anneliese agreed absentmindedly. "I remember last time we had a Hogsmeade trip, everyone practically melted out of the shops." She shook her head, remembering the terrible heat. It was a miracle there had been no heat strokes among the students. "I would have loved to spend the rest of the day by the lake today, though," she added, sounding regretful.
Already Anneliese was beginning to fidget, automatically casting a glance at her watch, even though it never worked while she was at Hogwarts. It would be impolite to just walk away now, she decided, and stressing herself like she had been doing during the past two weeks was unhealthy in any case. Staying for a bit longer to have a chat was perfectly acceptable. "I just got here," she said, smiling at Davey. "I need some new quills and such. The usual." She shrugged. "So what are you both up to this beautiful morning?"
