It's 1981. Voldemort is on the rise. Death Eaters roam free. Hundreds have died or disappeared. As each day passes, the resistance grows weaker. Voldemort seems to be invincible and all hope seems lost, that is until a Prophecy is made; a child with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies to those who have thrice defied him and with a power that the Dark Lord will not understand. This child will bring an end to Voldemort's reign. And so the Dark Lord set out to kill this child before he could grow into a threat.
We all know the story, little Harry Potter is that child, his parent's die to protect him, the Dark Lord falls, Sirius Black is sent to prison, The Longbottoms are tortured to insanity, dozens more die, and the survivors are left broken.
But let's not get further into that, because we all know that story. Because, what if the story had a different outcome? What if you had a chance to re-write canon? Decide who lives? Who dies? Who wins the war?
What if you could re-write history?
Here is your chance!
Crescendo is an AU Marauders Era RPG taking place in 1981, when the war is in full swing. Through your actions, the story will slowly unravel into something new and exciting, or still have the same outcome. The ending is unknown, but the journey to discovering it will be a good one.

 |  | The year is 2004.
As History has told us, the Ministry of Magic likes to hide things from the general public, as to not to cause a panic. Their constant need to keep us in the dark this time, has caused catastrophic, but amazing consequences. An experiment on the veil located in the Department of Mysteries goes terribly wrong. There is a bright flash of light, a series of loud noises, smoke of several different colors and then everything goes still. People all over the Wizarding World start blacking out, falling into a sleep. All of the Muggles in the world suddenly vanish, leaving their clothes, glasses, and jewelry behind. But that's not the biggest event that happened. Witches and Wizards started walking out from behind the Veil. Known Dead Witches and Wizards. And they were now as alive as they were before they died. Not Zombies or monsters, but living, breathing, healthy adults.
Ten hours after the initial event happened, the Witches and Wizards that had blacked out started waking up. They will soon discover the world as they knew it is gone and that magical beings are the only ones left. They will then discover the dead have come back to life. How are the characters in this situation going to react? That's up to you to decide. The game will start the day after the event.
→ Muggleborns have lost their parents.
→ Any Witches or Wizards with Muggle family have lost that family.
→ Back from the dead Death Eaters and the Dark Lord are alive and in hiding.
→ Every canon character from Harry Potter is available to play.
→ People back from the dead are the same age they were when they died.

Following along with Season 3's plot, Losers Like Me is a canon-based Glee game that will focus around character development and the "in-between scenes" of each episode. We'd love to fill all available "main" character slots before opening, and we're looking for more die-hard fans to join us!
