Clorinda, Narcissa
"That's very kind. Really, Madame does all the hard work and makes me look good," Narcissa said, but smiled again. Her gowns were amazing, and made to her exact standards. She allowed Madame Malkin some creative control, but Narcissa always had final approval and had on more than one occasion made the woman start from scratch. She paid a premium for such service, but it was worth it.
She laughed lightly. "Window shopping. Such a fun past-time." She meant it, though for her window shopping usually turned into regular shopping. Not always, but it was such a pleasure to find something special or unique and acquire it for oneself. "I just straighten my spine and remember how worth it it all is. You're lucky you can buy straight from the rack and look as good as you do; it's not a trait many women have." It was a compliment, if a backhanded one. "I'd ask more, but I'm afraid your answers would terrify me. I just hope you were able to bring back something valuable from such an experience."
