"I find that people who try to like themselves seldom do. You either do or don't, and if you do, then you accepts your own faults. You can hardly ask others to accept them if you don't." Regulus imposed his faults on others or ignored other people, but he didn't think that a Gryffindor could go that far. Or most Gryffindors. "Dumbledore is pretty good at imposing his faults on others. In case you thought it was a Slytherin trait."
Regulus smirked. Lupin was rather adorable, in that Red Riding Hood way, waiting for the big bad wolf to swallow him. "I would say that seven years at Hogwarts prove that most Gryffindors are." He chuckled. "And you're the house of the brave and daring, leading to loud and boisterous idiots who don't understand that walking to certain death isn't always the best plan. Let's leave loyalty to the Hufflepuffs. They don't have much else going for them."
The conversation was suddenly more intriguing. Lupin understood flirting when it didn't come from women with large breasts or giggling girls rubbing all over him, the only type of flirting Sirius understood if those horrible Muggle posters in his room were anything to go by. "Yes, it can, but life would be truly boring if you don't take chances and Gryffindors are brave and daring after all." He licked his lips as he smiled. "And same risks are worth even for a Slytherin."
