Remus actually let out a small chuckle at the mention of Regulus' interactions with his brother. He could imagine. Sirius could definitely be a bully to his family, something that Moony himself had warned his friend about. It was no wonder for the bad blood between brothers, but it was not as if the feelings and actions hadn't been mutual over the years. "Just e careful. The papers have a tendency to exaggerate. And by that, I mean lie. But, no. No new strays that I know of, though I've been keeping my head low for a while." His hands found the pockets of his jacket. "I guess we both have."
Lupin hadn't really taken in Regulus' full appearance until the comment came out and he realized the young man did look well. As always, he dressed the part of a well-to-do, though Remus suspected there had been some effort put in to ensure for that. Regulas, to Remus' knowledge, had always been particular about how he was seen.
You look...like you. Well, he'd heard worse. He actually smirked and nodded. "Thank you. I take it you mean tired and overworked." He didn't seem offended by that, though. "Yes. I'm actually very excited about it. But, we'll see how it works out. Dumbledore hasn't been able to keep anyone in the position for more than a year. I don't want to be another casualty to that." He couldn't afford to be. Remus was counting on keeping this job and he wasn't sure what would happen if he couldn't.
