"I have, and it went as well as it did in school," he said politely, refusing to discuss the particulars when money was involved. He would not complain for the lack of money as if he were poor. "Besides, I do read the papers. They informed me without having to speak to Sirius. I simply didn't know if you had picked up another stray in the meantime."
He knew that people were annoyed by his 'death' and 'resurrection', but he didn't care. If they had a problem, they could talk to Dumbledore. Regulus wondered how long before the old goat appeared, considering that Regulus hadn't given him any warning about his sudden return.
"Thank you. I do care about my appearance." He was well dressed, his hair was perfectly cut, there was rimmel on his eye lashes and kohl on his lids to deepen the blue of his eyes. His robes were bright as the new styles dictated, although he was not sold on the neon colours of some robes. "You look..." He took a good look. the man looked like he had in school, only older. Not terribly looking, something that Regulus wouldn't admit considering the friendship with Sirius and because he didn't want to be mocked. Lupin also looked like he needed a few weeks of rest, a spa and plenty of lotions and spells to fix his hair, clothes and skin. "Like you," he finally said. "So congratulations are in order. With your job. You seem to have fared better than my brother."
