James laughed, amused at the way Harry gave up his mother immediately. The kid had razor sharp survival instincts, that was for sure. Sometimes James wondered where that trait had come from, as both he and Lily (as they had been told by those who loved them) weren't necessarily the best at self-preservation.
"Ah, I see. Well then my boy, I will give you a pardon on this particular offense, if you assist me in capturing the wily Pirate Mummy," James said, setting Harry back on his feet. "We must capture her, and her little minion, and make them walk the plank."
Harry giggled, racing down the hall after Lily and Nate. James followed right on his heels, wand drawn as he knew Lily wouldn't hesitate to go on the offense. It was one of the things he loved most about her. One of the very many things. Really, the list was ridiculous at this point.
"I heard that, Nate my boy. The Captain walks no plank."
