She squinted her eyes in thought and analysed her life choices which had made her utter those words. But she was in the mood to off-load her worries, and Sirius had proven himself to be an excellent listener: she was at least half sure he would listen to her woes with one ear, register any urgent threats to her life or sanity, and smartly filter out the rest.
She took her first shot, winced, and exhaled.
"You," she pointed a slim finger at him, "are a true friend. And to start off with...Bagnold wants a war memorial. And she has given me the task to build it."
As soon as she had said it, she closed her eyes and took the second shot.
"And she wants me to talk to all sorts of people to get their input on how we should go about it. Some of the people who actually stood trials for war crimes."
