Re: Warded Ms. MacDonald/Mr. Malfoy.
The unequal treatment is something experienced by eleven years olds who have very little agendas other than to be treated properly. Did I feel that I was better? Of course, but then I felt I was better than everyone, including other purebloods. Is my hatred for Dumbledore caused by the fact that he's a half-blood? Hardly. I hate him for the disdain and hurt he causes the Slytherin House and the resentment he creates in children, knowing full well that soon enough my son will be in that school and he will be mistreated simply for where he's sorted. It's also why I'm seriously considering sending him away from Great Britain for his schooling.
If you think one of his most favoured student is a Slytherin then you're more naive than I had realised. Maybe one of his most useful, one of his most used, but hardly one of his most favoured or loved.
