James sighed. "I know, I know. It's my own folly that led me down this path," he said gravely. "Go ahead and laugh, it'll be your turn soon enough." Although, she would probably breeze through bath time, because that's just how things worked around here. And he loved every minute of it.
Shaking his head at his wife's habits, he flicked his wand to take care of the clothes. He'd grown up with a tidy house, thanks to the family house elf, but even if they didn't have one presently it didn't mean he wasn't still a fan of a clean floor. Of course, it helped to have magic. If he had to do it all the Muggle way, he didn't think he could stand it.
"Ah, to be young and stupid again," James said, transfering the soup into a mug, adding some bread with butter to a plate, and bringing it all over to the table for her. "Speaking of young and stupid, I have some news about Sirius. I'm not sure how you're going to take it."
