"How?" Lucius said, staring at her. "How would you like for me to do that? The boy goes by Nott, and the common room is abuzz about his likeness with the Malfoy. He looks like me, like Draco. People know already and the Hogwarts quill registered him as Leonardo Malfoy, not Nott, not Weasley, but Malfoy."
He got up and began pacing. "Nott moved her when she got pregnant, must have. She died a year ago and has been keeping the boy hidden, doing Merlin knows what. He doesn't want to cause problems, he says. He just doesn't want to go home to his uncle anymore. He'll stay in school for the holidays." He turned to Narcissa. "What do we do, Cissy? I can't leave him like that, and we can't ignore him, because it will hurt Draco in the long run. If I don't acknowledge him, Nott will eventually claim that he's my firstborn, that I would have given him the house and the inheritance if I had known, but if we get in front of this, Draco remains the Malfoy legitimate heir, and..." he lowered his voice. "He's my son. I can't let someone hurt him."
