Florean gladly accepted the reins from Marlene and weighed them in his hand, barely taking his eyes off Galaxy. "Oh yes, this is going to be brilliant!." He'd been known to take risks all the time during his Quidditch days at Hogwarts, so riding a flying horse was not at all intimidating.
Still on the ground, he watched what Marlene did with her legs and feet to get Starlight to take to the sky. "Looks easy enough," he said with a nod, then turned to Galaxy. "How about it mate? Are you ready to do this?" He hadn't been on a horse for a while, so he was a little clumsy getting into the saddle; he position of the wings made it a little more difficult than usual. However, Galaxy was patient. Once Florean was comfortably situated, he imitated Marlene's move... but nothing happened. "Giddieup," he said, then added, "Please?" He made a some tsk tsk noises with his mouth and flipped the reins, but still nothing. He frowned, "This is harder than first year broom instruction. C'mon, boy. Pretty please?"
When he hitched his legs again, Galaxy responded by taking to the sky, and Florean's spirit similarly soared. "Wheeeeeeeee!"
