The bitter tone of her voice, while disguised by a smile, was not lost on Florean. "You shouldn't think that way. You're clever enough. I think if you put some thought into it, you could reintroduce the idea. Maybe even in a sneaky, slip it into the agenda for the people in upper management to read?" Florean raised his eyebrows at his own devious suggestion. "And I don't think the Ministry's moved on from dark wizards - if they had, what are all the Aurors doing?"
Florean's mouth twisted with frustration of his own - he didn't want to start a rant about his opinion on the matter, but he couldn't help himself when he blurted out, "Whole generations are being taught that History is something to sleep through, that it's not important or interesting. Yes, maybe next year, but I doubt it. He seems more interested in not hurting a ghost's feelings than to educate students."
At the stable, Florean's mood changed from irritation to awe at the sight of the flying horses. "Oh!" he exclaimed, taking a step forward, but stopping short. "It's alright for me to get close, yeah? They're absolutely gorgeous. What made you start keeping them?"
