Sirius shook his head when James mentioned an accountant.
"Been doing it myself. But Carter Flint needs a job, so if he can figure the things out he's welcome to them."
Sirius poured another drink. As always the subject of his family left him highly off ballance.
"Yeah. I guesz it's good. Like I said, we talked. It went okay. He's re-doing the house."
Sirius chugged the whiskey back like pumpkin juice and poured another.
"He put me back on the tapestry."
Sirius said the words in an utterly nonchalant manner. As if they didn't mean a thing. As if Sirius had never arrived on James' doorstop bloody and crying.
