"I didn't mean for it to get so... Heated. " Sirius admitted. "But Snape just," he shook his head and didn't finish the sentence. Remus of all people knew what Sirius wad capable of when it came to Snape.
"Prongs comes by when he can, yeah. Couple times a week, after the sprogs are in bed. Have you visited them lately? Merlin, Harry is so big and he's damn smart. And little Noah is a cuddle factory."
He looked over at Remus with a grin. It suddenly occured to him how long it had been since all three of them had been together. Sirius didn't go to the gala, not trusting himself not to make a scene. He couldn't think of the last time it had just been the Marauders. Hell, he couldn't think of the last time it had just been him and Remus. The grin slipped.
"I really miss you," he admitted in a fit of drunken honesty.
It was stupid, cause they talked all the time. But it wasn't the same. When had he and Remus stopped spending much time together? How had Sirius been working on this place for over a year and yet this was the first his friend had seen it? Had they grown apart when Sirius wasn't looking? The thought nearly made his heart stop.
