Regulus was picking the curtains and pillows for what he had come to view as 'Sirius' room'. His brother might not want to live there, but if he ever needed to crash there, Regulus wanted something that would feel like home. There were the same cream and gold tones that prevailed around the house, but where the other rooms had green accents, he had picked red for this room.
He was perusing the assortment of curtains when he heard the other man. He looked him over, eyes moving from head to toe. "My hands are perfectly clean since I wear gloves when I go outside," he said calmly. "I also know better than to run my hands over everything, since the natural oils of your body will stain the silk. It's basic knowledge and anyone who knows silks would take precautions against it. However a store can hardly cast the type of spell that would withstand the touch of hundreds of people. So no, she didn't check my hands, because I know better."
