RP: Edgar Bones & Regulus Black Who: Edgar Bones and Regulus Black What: Cushion shopping Where: A shop that sells cushions in Diagon When: 2nd September, 1981 Rating: Low
Edgar wasn't a home decor sort of bloke. His tastes were simple so to make room for his one passion: music. Many of the walls in his flat held posters from his favourite gigs, and the bookcases overflowed with records. He had so little experience in these matters that he didn't have a clue where to go in search of a cushion for his dear, cynical friend. It seemed like a simple task: get a cushion stitched with some ridiculous phrase about serial killers. While he knew he would be hard pushed to find a ready-made item, he hoped the cushion seller would have been able to point him in the right direction.
After killing some time looking in various shop windows, he finally stumbled into a place that had curtains, which was a fairly good sign. The woman looked at him as if he had stumbled in the place--which he had--and Edgar flashed her a broad smile in response.
"I'm looking for a cushion," he said as he started looking through fabrics. As soon as his hands hit the the silks, however, disappeared from the spot.
He gave her a quizzical look, holding his hands up for inspection. "Clean, I swear. I wash daily."
"You look with your eyes--" But Edgar's gaze shifted towards the man who was shopping at ease.
