Marlene shrugged. "I don't drink with people around. If I want to get drunk, I'm already planning a night at home, and besides I have my mum and grandmother to keep me company when society fails me. We're going to see a ballet in Paris next month. We're making a point to do at least one special thing every month. It helps with the boredom."
