She let out the breath of a laugh. "Grabby hands, though he's become especially fond of sardine sandwiches for some reason, so... the best of both worlds?" It was nice to catch up with her friend, but at the same time it drove home how long it truly had been since they'd run into each other. Then again, perhaps it was best to say they usually indulged in a different type of small talk in times prior...
"With what's been made public, I can only imagine." She completely understood the secrecy that was still needed at these types of things, even if the political tides had supposedly changed greatly in the past decade. Besides, though they'd had in-depth conversations about politics before, most of the time it was when she was drunk and in need of a vent. Lucky Kingsley.
"Probably more boring, honestly." There was the thought to go into detail regarding the most recent ridiculousness her cat had gotten into, but she stopped just short and decided to throw caution to the wind. "We could change that, if you wanted." Though she was willing to wind around certain subjects, ending up in bed together was never something she pussyfooted around. "That is if you don't have any plans tonight..." There was a quirk of her brow before she took another long swig, all but finishing her drink. She'd need to grab another one regardless of where she was sleeping tonight.
