Edgar & Clorinda
"Oh yes, because if you look, it states all of the same things of books previously written but that were found after the 1876 publication. So unless he was holding on to priceless manuscripts without taking credit, he wouldn't know what was there."
Clorinda thought about it, but slowly shook her head. "No, I don't have to come up to a point, because with the lack of evidence, it really doesn't help us. You can take the moral lessons of history and use it to support present behaviour, but I would never condemn someone based on history. Well, with the exception of Hitler. I can definitely condemn him."
She snorted. Of course he wouldn't care, because he was a man and he didn't understand the hardship that women faced. "The problem is that men classified what's dark, but really I can stop someone from breathing with perfectly non dark magic. Why should that be better than a spell that's classified as dark? I end up killing a man either way. In fact, I can use an explosive spell to make a heart explode and neither you nor the Aurors would be involved because it's not dark magic. It's never so simple."
Clorinda smiled sheepishly. "I'm much better at this type of discussions than chitchat. I also find very stupid to have to hide my brain to attract people. They either like me or not. Most run away within minutes. Congratulation, you've lasted more than your average man."
