He laughed softly at the scent remark, shaking his head at just how convoluted their conversation had become. "I'll deal with the problem when it's a problem," he concluded, which really was his way. He thought he was fairly good at coming up with solutions to problems around him (perhaps not conventionally), but he saw no point in making mountains out of mole hills.
And with that he had somehow found himself showering and being a part of the napping process. As soon as she had nodded off, he had slipped silently from her (with a practised ease) and spent the rest of the day in his study with his guitar.
