"Trying," she said in a whisper, before looking up at him. "I'm thinking of going undercover again. I mean not like I do now, but long term, like I did for the war. I don't know if they'll approve it, though. Even if technically I'm still a clerk in the office as far as the outside world is concerned, the aurors know what I do. Back then, it was just the Head, the Deputy and Moody. Still it might be worth the risk." She just didn't know if she could do that again, not without losing herself and talking to him helped her figure out what she wanted to do. "What do you think?"
Marlene sighed. "I don't know how the hell you do it. I don't mean getting it up, but being drunk while with someone else. I don't trust the people I shag as far as I can throw them. The only people I could drink with are you, Moody and Dumbledore and I'm not having sex with any of you."
She chuckled. "No, love, it's that I don't complain as long and as loudly about the good ones, which is why you remember the bad ones."
