"Edgar Bones is a known diligent worker," he agreed as he made his way through the breakfast. It was safe to say that his friendship circle was a varied one, but Marlene and Amelia were by far the closest. He had very different relationships with each women (because he sure as hell didn't want to know who his sister was shagging in the alphabet), but each knew the many intricate workings of his personality.
He held his hand to his chest in faux-hurt. "You wound me deeply." The truth to the matter was that while they were affectionate, there was never that connection between them. It wasn't exactly a sisterly relationship but it was on par with that.
"I sleep fine," he dismissed. "I'd just rather be doing something than wasting the hours. We can't all be lazy gits."
Reaching for a cup of coffee, he rolled his eyes as she played the same old men are shit card. "I forgot how altruistic the fairer sex are," he laughed. "It's not a problem I've faced. I have a very wide net."
