James grinned, and chuckled along with her. They might be closer to thirty than twenty these days, but if he ever stopped laughing at himself or at a good joke, he hoped someone would put him out of his misery.
"Ah, time. The great enemy of all witches and wizards," James said, shaking his head in mock sadness. "I had hoped you'd be called in, I requested only the best for him." He winked at her. "I've assured him that we've put all future testing on hold until he returns to work. It just didn't seem right to continue when he couldn't be there to witness the ultimate success."
He linked his arm with hers. "So, where are you off to? I'm killing time until Lily is free at the Ministry."
