She didn't want to see Regulus get his hopes up that Bella could be reasoned with, or swayed from her fanatical loyalty to the Dark Lord, even if he was truly gone forever. "Go to see her if you like, I won't stop you, but just remember she's not who she was."
As long as those deaths weren't anyone she was fond of, she honestly didn't care about them. This group of wizards could kill half of England, and she wouldn't bat an eye until they came after her family. However, since it was highly likely they'd come after Regulus sooner or later, she wanted them out of the picture. That would be a discussion for another time, once she'd had Lucius find out more about what the Aurors knew.
