She laughed, and glanced over at a framed photograph of Draco standing next to Lucius, then back at Regulus. "Yes, I do," she said. "He will do great things, and I won't let anything or anyone stand in his way."
Nodding, she started a mental list of who she or Lucius would need to talk to to make this happen. It wouldn't be hard, and she didn't even think they would have to stoop to blackmail or intimidation. They were owed enough favors that it should be much easier than that. "The last time I was there she was raving about how her Master would come back and free her. I couldn't stay for long." That had been the last time she'd cried, and over two years had passed since then.
She didn't think he was telling the entire truth, but she had never expected him to. What he did tell her was enough, and she could piece together a bit more from her own speculation. She didn't think he'd gone with that group to stop them initially; something had happened that had turned him against them, and he'd taken care of them.
"All right. That answers most of my questions," she said, smiling at him. "The important part really is that you're back, and you're safe. I've missed you."
