Who: Minerva McGonagall and Alecto Carrow What: Catfight! House Politics Where: Professor's Lounge When: October 12, morning Rating: TBD. Probably not too high.
To say that Minerva McGonagall was upset would safely be amongst the greater understatements of the year. She was livid, at any number of people--her students for taking this long to finally inform her of the incident, Longbottom and Finnegan for taking foolhardy risks, herself for being unable to protect them despite all intentions; but she was raging at Alecto Carrow's viscious disregard for the children. One would only expect as much with this pack of hyenas, but it still unsettled her. Professor McGonagall's warpath had cut through the campus in vain from hers to Alecto's office; to Amycus' office, to classrooms, until it finally reached the professor's lounge.
Wordlessly the transfiguration professor pushed open the door with a good bit more strength than a seventy-five year old frame might suggest. She paused for a moment, taking in the room carefully. Doors thus far had led to more frustration than resolution of aggression. However, Minerva felt the rising gall in her throat recede for the briefest moment as she spotted the target of her ire
"Miss Carrow." The witch did not mince words, each packing a contemptuous control. She spoke as she might to any misbehaving student. "I trust we might have a word."
