"Damn it," Cappie cursed in a loud mutter, whirling around on the spot as though he was looking for a place to hide. He stopped, raising his hands in mock surrender as he turned back to face the tiny, blonde girl that had just confronted him. "I thought I was being subtle." He smiled in what he hoped was a non-threatening, apologetic way.
He had been following her, although it was more by mistake than on purpose. At first it had been a coincidence that they'd both turned the same way down the street, then there had been the construction works blocking the sidewalk, which had forced them both to cross the road. The mistake had happened when Cappie had accidentally followed her down a wrong turn. He thought the girl might have been trying to lose him at that point - he wasn't sure why she would have turned down a street that led her back the way she'd just come otherwise - but he'd gotten so used to being behind her and, truth be told, he'd become so entranced by the wiggle of her ass in front of him, that he'd forgotten completely where it was he had been going in the first place.
