"You're certainly not wrong," she responds, still greatly amused as she stretches her arms out again. The cold air is much more pleasant to be in with a jacket on, and she tips her head back to look at the sky as she takes a deep breath. "It's the perfect action to take, Cas. The perfect gentleman. Keep that up and you'll be married with a collection of little Castiels running around in no time."
She's still grinning, and as her arms drop down to slip into the jacket pockets Anna can't help but feel an immense sense of relief. Maybe it's getting out of the same room for a moment, or something about the way being out at night makes her feel human again, but she's already much more optimistic. She used to do this frequently the first time around, before she got her Grace back, and it's nice to come back to that. It's nicer that she's doing it with him though, that they've actually got a positive memory involving being out at night together. Their history hasn't allowed for that so far.
"When I was younger, I used to lie in the garden and stare at the sky for so long. It made me feel...I don't know, like I wasn't alone. I never knew why." Her head drops slightly, gaze falling from the sky to Castiel's eyes, "I think I preferred it when I thought angels were watching over me, not hunting me down."
She's not sure why she's sharing this, but she wants him to know all the same. These days she's grown used to being much more open with Castiel, and she's sure she has noticed the same with him. Granted it would be difficult to get much more reserved than what he already had been, but it's a comfort nonetheless. She casts her eyes upwards again with a quiet sigh escaping, but it's content. "Do you think there are beings out there that still look out for us?"
