"I know," Jeremiah said quietly. "And there's a lot more I need to tell you," he added. Like how he'd been locked away for years because of his ability, and how Elle had been part of that. How she and Sylar had led to his escape, how he'd hunted people with abilities, how his family had suffered. And even things like his twin brother and his brother's ability. But that kind of thing could wait. The basics were out for now and that was what mattered. She knew what Sylar was, she knew what he was, and she knew - to an extent - what she and her sister were. That was enough for now.
"Whatever questions you have, whenever you're ready to ask them...," Jeremiah offered a small apologetic smile, "I'll answer them." He cleared his throat, "And Veronica... it'll be okay. You'll be fine." With that, he flashed another quick smile and changed the door from glass back to wood, giving Veronica her privacy to deal with the fact her entire world had just changed radically.
