Meredith nodded. "I'm totally gonna pay you back for all this shutting up later," she said simply. "When I know I can't get us killed."
It was an empty threat and she knew it. For all she knew, she could die the second they reached his camp if she didn't die before it. Yet again, there was hope and it was good enough for her.
