"I meant they're easy to charm. If the whole job was charm the pants off him I know I could definitely handle it myself, without the need to bring up walnuts." He quipped back easily enough, waggling his brows playfully when the other stared a bit too long. "No we're not. It's still about the job so technically it's still on topic, even if your personality versus his is now the subject."
"Or alternatively, the more you try and force someone to remember, the more likely they are to forget every single little tiny detail." He wasn't backing down on his stance. Arthur was right in this case, but so was he. Too much was generally a bad thing. Too much room for human error. "I think we'll be just fine. With or without the walnuts."
"Perhaps because while dreaming is a good outlet, everyone needs to let off a bit of steam every now and then? I'm not saying that your point is wrong...but frankly darling, your point is wrong. People aren't meant to live as tightly wound as you are and if you leaving dreaming as your only outlet you're eventually going to shut down." He crosses his arms over his chest with sigh. "And you know that's not exactly true. The only reason you don't have the time is because you don't let yourself have the time. You spend all day and night pouring over facts that we more than likely won't need to use and then spend any sliver of free time you could have triple checking everything. You need to live a little."
He can't help but smile at the other softly even through the younger man's pointed glare. "Why not? You seemed fine talking about it a few minutes ago."
