Doing as she was told Abbey kept her eyes on his, her normal green meeting alpha read as she tried to control her breathing. She knew he wouldn't understand her fear or panic. He was born this way and never had to go through what she had since being bitten. But nonetheless his voice slowly started to calm her down as her claws finally retracted and her heart rate steadied at least slightly.
"Alright...sorry." She agreed quietly as she nodded. Following his lead she waited until he moved to start walking, pausing to grab the one small bookbag she had been allowed to bring from her home. She kept close to the Alpha, shying away from anyone they walked by that she felt was too close to her. God she hoped that she could get used to these people soon. She hated being this jumpy.
