Matthias was quiet because he had nothing to say for the moment as he navigated the diesel truck through toward the property his house and the pack sat on. the big stretch of land off of the lake, with a house that fit his needs, and land that would allow for expansion and keeping his pack close. But he almost snapped at the young she-wold when she started in on the radio. His jaw clenched and he had parted his lips to tell her to pick a damn station and leave it, but then she turned the radio back off. He was thankful up until she decided that in the absence of music they should talk.
"My name is Matthias Langer. You will call me Matthias, Alpha Langer, or Alpha." He said without looking from the road toward her. He then sighed, because giving her information before arriving at the property was advisable. "Langers have lead the pack for generations, and we enjoy peace and prosperity. Our pack politics may seem medieval to you, but we work together as a unit. Currently the main house, where I live and you will, is housing the entire pack. This is temporary, as we are constructing cabins through out the main section of the property for the individual families. Only those without mates and children will reside in the main house. I have six siblings who are still with the pack; my brother born after me takes care of the main house for me. It is my hope you will take over for him, or at the least ease his burden."
