Their parents had spent so much time trying to keep them apart, that Hunter had never realized just what a good housekeeper his sister was. It was one reason he had been happy to find a house that wasn't too big; he wasn't sure that either of them would have any idea what to do with it. Together, however, they had managed to find a kind of rhythm. Fawn kept the house running at a good pace, and Hunter took care of the heavy stuff. It was quite a change, no longer feeling worn out after cleaning the horses stall. In fact, the activity did him good, distracting him away from the things that worried him most.
