Ripper quirked an eyebrow at her response. Walking further into the library, he watched her reading. He fussed with the papers on the table nearby while she did her silent treatment. He needed her out of the room or needed to know that she could not see what he did to get into his secret room.
Glancing over at her when he spoke, he narrowed his eyes. Pursing his lips, he sauntered over to her. "And you need a proper light." He said, waving his hand slightly and her lamp going out.
"So you don't like the grizzly look?" A finger was placed on the top of her book tipping it down before he closed it on her to force her to look at him. Ripper was not in the mood for being judged by his girls. The darkness that had a hold of him could not break past his care for them though. He could not hurt her in anyway, but he gave a part of him to take the life she had demanded him to take. Her hunter would not have made as much of a difference as he could.
