There were no moments of peace in Katherine's life, ever. No real instances where she had a moment to breathe through out the years. Drama followed her, drowned her in its dark tar. No one bothered to look deeper into her, past the selfish brat exterior to see the lost child inside or the girl whose heart was riped away as soon as her daughter was taken from her arms. But Katherine did not mind that people only looked so deep at her. It kept her a safe distance from them. Fate had a cruel humour having Rebekah stumble upon her at the auction house. Since Elijah turned her, she had run as fast and as hard from Klaus as she possibly could, only to be dragged back into slavery to that retched family over five centuries later. Dressed in tight jeans that grabbed onto every right place from her hips to her boots and a black dress top, Katherine decided to walk around the estate. Dark curls bounced with each step as she tried to keep from being in too open of spaces that could be seen from the house. She didn't know where the siblings were to know how safe she could be wandering. The stable door swung lightly in the autumn breeze pullingher attention toward the barn. She hadn't been riding in so long that she figure there was no harm in looking in on the horses. And maybe there was a delicious stable boy to eat up. |
