Tas wanted to give chase but his priority was not the man. He slid the blades back into their hiding spots on his body and went behind the bar, almost running to see how Tris was. He did not expect to see a lynx back there. He ran the back of his hand under his nose, wiping away the blood, or more like smearing it. He crouched down, trying to make himself as unassuming as possible.
"Tris?" he asked. He hadn't seen her changed before. He wasn't exactly sure what was the next move was here. He held his hands out, palms up, inviting the lynx to sniff him, to see he wasn't a danger, at least to her.
