"Stop, please," Bella said as Misha moved closer. She was frozen where she stood and so ended up in his arms. His large hand rested comfortable against the small of her back. It felt like it belonged there. She looked up at Misha with sadness and panic in her eyes because she knew he was only doing this because he couldn't have her.
"Meru won't sell me to you. He will sell me as far away as he can. He told me that," Bella spoke before she swallowed hard. She lifted her hands and rested them gently on Misha's broad chest. He was warm under her touch which just caused the blush to grow. "And even if he did, you wouldn't take Malia as well. Malia and I are a package deal."
