Re: Viewing Rooms: Sayuri and Kenshin
The tale of the Battousai was well known where Sayuri had grown up. The warrior who could take on a hundred men at once and come out only wearing the blood of his enemies. While she was sure that the legends were exaggerated to some degree, just the idea of having such a warrior to protect her might actually give her a chance to sleep at night once more.
Since she had fled her home, the nights had been the worst. Every sound, every shadow had become her husband or his men searching for her to make her pay, to bring her back to bare a child and then kill her. Sayuri was not about to let that happen though. For the first time in her life, she was free and she was going to do everything in her ability to keep it that way.
Which was why she pooled together all of the money she and made her way to the auction house. Her clothing stood out compared to those around her. simple capri pants, a black tank top, but the purple flower patterened haori was what stood out. So used to traditional Japanese clothing, that even now Sayuri was reluntant to give it all up, choosing to add things like that to make her feel more comfortable.
Walking in, Sayuri could already hear people talking and searching for the legendary warrior, but none could find him yet. They came looking for a man as large as his legend, but there was none. she could remember her grandmother telling her that what was unique about the man was the fact that he wasnt big but he was lithe, relying on his speed. So Sayuri went looking for a man who looked like speed would be his ally.
It took her nearly an hour before she finally settled on one sell with a Japanese man with hair the color of blood. Motioning to the guard, he brought her into the room and waited for him to bring the male in as well.
