Xander tried not to give off any hostile vibes. He wasn't. He was just... uncomfortable. And a little scared, to be honest, since he didn't trust Spike to not kill him. Or maim him or anything else. Xander's experience with vampires wasn't that good.
Finally finding the keys, Xander opens the door and shrugs. "Well, my business and it's what I do, so... Why make it complicated? Walk carefully in here though, it's... a bit of a mess, and there's wood-work everywhere." he continued having a vague memory that vampires and wooden poles didn't mix well. "Apartment is upstairs." A beat or two. "OH! And I... invite you in, Spike." he remembered saying a bit hesitantly standing in the doorway. There. He'd said it. No turning back.
