Zell listened to Seifer as he explored the house. He was able to hear every step and breath because the werecheetah was focused on his wayward slave. He had a pile of work and he hadn't even made eye contact with Seifer yet and the slave already had all of his attention.
"It's called work. I thought maybe you had heard of it since you seemed to want to do it so badly," Zell commented as he stayed looking down at the sheets of paper that he was writing on. He put out the smoke that was slowly burning down but he didn't look up at Seifer or welcome him home. The human had made it clear where he stood and Zell would have to respect that.
