"You're not doing fine. When was the last time you got a good night's rest, Dr. Benjamin," Stefan asked, giving a teasing smile at the other man and uncrossing his arms. The other vampire wasn't offended by Arik, he understood, but he still raised a brow at the man.
Turning away, he glanced down the hallway towards the stairs, and then back to the dark-haired man sitting up on the bed. He swallowed and took a chance, stepping into the room and shutting the door behind himself so they had some privacy--even if Stefan didn't know for what.
The room became a lot darker, so Stefan moved towards a lamp, flicking it onto the lowest setting, even if they could see each other in the dark anyways. "You should take some time off from work. Even vampires shouldn't push themselves further than necessary." Stefan was sure he sounded like an old man saying something like that, but he was right. "Did you feed?"
