Stefan was quite aware of the fact that Arik hadn't been spending a lot of time at the house lately. He knew that was to be expected at times when you were a doctor, but even vampires needed their rest and relaxation--it was especially important to keep the urge to feed in-check. So Stefan, being the worrying type, was at least somewhat concerned over his new master, though he didn't admit it to anyone, not even Claudia.
So when Arik had dragged himself home Friday night, the older vampire pulled himself from his room and headed towards his master's at the other side of the house--just to check on him. He approached quietly, just in case, and once he made it to the open door, Stefan stood just outside in a pair of sweats and a white tank. He couldn't help smiling a bit at the sight of Arik laying at the end of his bed, looking like he still had quite a bit on his mind.
He needed to stop.
"Are you doing okay," he asked from the doorjamb, crossing his arms over his chest.
