She could be a vampire; she was certainly pale enough. If so, that delicacy was just an illusion and she'd be capable of picking up a car and throwing it. He'd seen that happen once.
Evan folded his arms across his chest. Maybe not a vampire, if she was this polite. That would be good; he had no desire to be fed from.
"I have an MBA from the University of Washington, Seattle. I work--worked--as the chief loan manager at Labal National Bank. As clichéd as it is, I'm very good at math. I'm a decent cook and a good gardener. I'm good with my hands." Then he realized how that sounded and added, "I grew up using power tools and making repairs around my parent's inn. I have--had--a home that I renovated myself."
The corner of his mouth quirked, barely noticeable. "I got a gold star for good penmanship in elementary school."
