"Very good, Danny," Oberyn said. The door opened again, and if it weren't for the fact that he knew without looking that one of the people entering was Ellaria, he would've simply held his hand out for the papers. Instead, he turned and smiled at her, everything about him softening even more.
"I have, yes." He took the papers from the man, glanced at them, nodded to himself and handed them back just as easily. "Have the bill of sale drawn up. There's no need for the boy to go up to the block." The handler disappeared again, looking somehow even more nervous than he had when he entered in the first place.
"Do you understand what's happening, Danny? Are you alright with coming home to serve myself and Ellaria?" It could only help if it was clear from the beginning that the boy was as much Ellaria's as he was Oberyn's. He kept nothing from her. Had no reason to. "You may answer honestly, child. No one in this room will rebuke you for speaking the truth."
