Her touch was surprisingly gentle and Theo leaned a little into it. The promise to treat him well, to let him set boundaries, to wish to set him free, was entirely unexpected. He'd thought to be used and abused--he'd certainly seen enough of that over the years--so he was a little nonplussed. He leaned down and brushed his lips over her cool pale cheek before she turned around and began bidding.
Her choice was a man. He was tall and heavily-muscled, with dark blond hair and a handsome face that didn't look the least bit intimidated by his fate. Theo thought that they were approximately the same age, but from a distance, it was difficult to tell. What was very clear was that the man was in a shape that Theo would never achieve, not if he lived ten lifetimes. Theo was naturally lean, and this man looked to make two of him.
"If you're going for visual opposites," he said, "I think you're on the right track, Mistress."
