"Oh, he's green alright." Seifer replied as he nodded his head, "Twenty one and thinks he knows everything there is to know in the world. God damn, told me that the first day." He shook his head a little at that as he gave her a look that told her just how unimpressed he was with the werecheetah, "I seriously don't trust him to keep a gold fish alive. Don't suppose you know of any legal loopholes I could use to get out of this, huh?"
Even though he asked it, Seifer knew as well as the next human being that once your name was called you were pretty much screwed until you died or whoever you were stuck with felt generous enough to let you go.
He shook his head once more as he knew it had to be incredible hard on the human police officers to have to deal with such grisly crimes and have that kind of indifference from supposedly their fellow officers. He could tell how wearing it was on her to have to keep being so strong all the time and yet she could still manage a smile despite it all. "You're good people, Becket. You and the guys. I have no damn idea how you keep going with all the shit that gets thrown your way." Seifer commented as he returned her grin and nudged her shoulder with his own as a show of affection.
"Life of the party, what can I say?" He stated with a soft chuckle and wistful sigh for times gone by. "I'm sure someone's going to fill up my cell soon enough. There's always a jackass somewhere looking for a new home."
