Jack let the boy's wrist go, allowing the young waiter to hold pressure on it until more was needed. Swirling the wine in his cup as he thought about his answers, Jack smirked. "I have been very well. Found some old friends amongst the inhabitants on the island. So I think I may stay for a while."
He let a small sip stain his lips as his dark eyes kept locked on Rebekah. "I've been a medical examiner for two decades now. I found it was easier to cover my tracks if I was the one investigating them. What about you? I noticed my sire and the rest of the family is on the island. What have all of you been up to since we last saw each other?"
Keeping the eye contact, he set his cup down on the table. The boundaries of familial ties amongst his vampire family meant little more than he had more respect for the Mikaelson's then others. Rebekah could be seen as his Aunt in how they all spoke of the line, but that relationship did not stop him from taking from her like he did other women. Jack was a very dominate personality; an odd trait given how the females he had loved had always been given the control and always ripped his heart out with it.
Sauntering over to the blonde vampire, he kissed her on the cheek. "Are you hungry?" He whispered into her ear, as his hands slipped around her waste.
