After the auction, Lillah was escorted to a room where they gave her back her one bag she had brought with her. Apparently whoever bought her allowed her to have it. She had been told that her things were no longer hers anymore and it was up to the buyer where they ended up. Lillah was more than thankful she was able to keep it. Her bag held sentimental things. After the chip on the back of her neck was updated to her new master's information, she was lead to her master. She had sort of seen him in the crowd when he was bidding on her, but now she was in the same room with him, and she honestly wasn't expecting what she saw. He was older, but distinguished in a way. His blue eyes showed years of ups and downs, and far more experiences than she'd ever had. But she didn't see what she always saw in Blake, an evil hatred that threatened to break out and hurt her. So she was very relieved.
They seemed to be waiting on something, and Lillah almost asked until the door opened and another girl was lead in the room. Lillah didn't say anything but took it upon herself to assume that this other girl was another slave that he had bought. So they're be two of them? Lillah wondered how many other slaves her new master had. Lillah learned that her new master's name was Rupert Giles, but he usually went by Ripper. While the name could be intimidating, it had her remembering the short research paper she did for a history course over Jack the Ripper, and she remembered her nights at the library, coffee being her best friend as she poured over books. Those nights had been safe, well, at least until she got home.
The drive to Ripper's house was quiet on her end. He hadn't really spoken to he much, but seemed to already be acquainted with the other girl, which she found out was named River Tam. She sat in the back of probably the most expensive car she had ever sat in, and watched the scenery go by.
When they reached his house, she collected her bag and waited in the entry for orders, commands, instructions of some kind. This was so new to her, but she was really excited too, but it only showed in her eyes and a small smile on her lips. What now?
